The Art of Diamond Tools

Natural Diamond

Natural Diamonds

The Earth creates natural diamonds through immense pressure and heat over billions of years. As the hardest natural substance known to man, diamonds are made of pure carbon in crystalline form. Contrary to common belief, they are not formed from coal but develop deep in the Earth's mantle under specific conditions of high pressure (45-60 kilobars) and relatively low temperature (900-1,300°C).

Synthetic Diamond

Synthetic Diamonds

While nature creates natural diamonds, humans engineer synthetic diamonds with precision. These lab-grown diamonds share the same carbon structure but are more cost-effective for industrial applications. Small synthetic diamonds are commonly used as abrasives, while larger ones remain expensive to produce. Both types serve crucial roles in jewelry manufacturing and tool production.

Our Diamond Journey

Since 2011, we have been at the forefront of diamond tool manufacturing for jewelry production. Our expertise encompasses the complete spectrum of diamond tools used in precious metal working:

  • Specialized machine tools and precision hand tools
  • Chain manufacturing tools and precision turning tools
  • Advanced CNC diamond tools for automated production
  • Flywheel components and specialized abrasives

Diamonds are discovered in various locations - from ancient volcanic sites to meteorite impact zones. While some surface diamonds are found, major operations like those in South Africa require deep mining. Interestingly, diamonds were first discovered in India, marking the beginning of mankind's fascination with these precious stones.

The Diamond Creation Process

From Earth's depths to precision tools

1

Geological Formation

Natural diamonds form in two distinct environments: within the lithospheric mantle beneath stable continental plates, and at meteorite impact sites where extreme pressure and temperature conditions momentarily replicate the Earth's interior.

2

Extraction & Recovery

Diamonds are extracted from kimberlite pipes (ancient volcanic conduits) or alluvial deposits. Modern recovery combines traditional mining with advanced technologies to separate diamonds from surrounding rock and soil.

3

Tool Fabrication

We transform both natural and synthetic diamonds into precision tools through specialized processes including cutting, bonding, and polishing. Our tools serve jewelers working with gold, platinum, silver, and other precious metals.

Our company specializes in the design, production, repair, and polishing of all diamond tools used in jewelry making, including natural diamond (ND), synthetic diamond (MCD), PCD, and carbide tools. Since our founding in 2011, we've combined traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to create tools that meet the exacting standards of jewelry manufacturers worldwide.
